What is Slack?
Slack is a workplace messaging platform with channels, direct messages, file sharing and app integrations. Teams across companies use it for day-to-day communication.
Visit slack.comHow Slack works with Curviate
Curviate posts LinkedIn events to Slack: replies and account alerts within seconds, accepted invitations within a few hours. Route them through n8n, Make or Zapier and shape each message the way your team likes.

Three flows teams set up first. Each one takes a few minutes.
Every reply, in Slack
A new LinkedIn reply posts the message and the sender to the right place in Slack.
message.received
Accepted invites, celebrated
Your team sees each accepted invitation, with the person and the account it came through.
connection.acceptedAccount alerts
When an account needs to sign in again, its owner hears about it in Slack right away.
account.reconnect_neededSet up Slack with Curviate
Everything runs on two things Curviate gives every account: signed webhooks out and a REST API in.
- 1
Copy your Curviate API key
In the Curviate dashboard, open Settings, then API & Webhooks, and copy your key.
# keep it in your tool's credentials, never in plain text
CURVIATE_API_KEY=cvt_live_••••3f9a - 2
Connect Slack to your automation
Sign in to Slack inside n8n, Make or Zapier, or create an API key in Slack if you write your own code.
- 3
Send Curviate events to it
Point a Curviate webhook at an n8n, Make or Zapier webhook trigger, or at your own endpoint. Each webhook covers one source:
messagingfor replies,userfor accepted invitations,motionfor Motion outcomes,account_statusfor account alerts.curl https://api.curviate.com/v1/webhooks \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CURVIATE_API_KEY" \
-d '{
"source": "messaging",
"events": ["message.received"],
"account_ids": ["acc_…"],
"request_url": "https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/…"
}' - 4
Write to Slack
Add the Slack step your tool offers, such as creating or updating a message, and map the fields from the Curviate event.
# what your tool receives
{ "event": "connection.accepted",
"data": { "account_id": "acc_…", "occurred_at": "2026-10-17T09:12:00Z", … } } - 5
Check the signature
Every delivery carries a
Curviate-Signatureheader: an HMAC-SHA256 of the timestamp and the raw body, made with your webhook’s secret. Compare it before you act, and drop anything older than five minutes.Curviate-Signature: t=1792230000,v1=5f2c9a…e81b
# expected = HMAC_SHA256(secret, t + "." + raw_body)

Can each rep get only their own replies?
Yes. A webhook covers the accounts you pick, so each rep or team can have their own place in Slack.
Which events can I send to Slack?
Messages, accepted invitations, published posts, account status changes and every step of a Motion.
Do I need a developer?
No. n8n, Make and Zapier all have Slack steps, so you can connect the two without code.
